Your kayak requires very little maintenance! (But deserves all your love and devotion) We recommend using a UV protectant (can be found at your local kayak dealer or online) every couple of trips to help avoid any potential sun damage or color fading.
Store your kayak indoors.
Use mild soap and water to wash your kayak. (Salt water won’t harm the plastic, but it’s always a good idea to rinse it off with freshwater after an ocean dip to avoid potential corrosion on the hatches, seat , foot tracks, etc)
To prevent unnecessary wear and tear, try to refrain from dragging it across rough surfaces as often as possible. (check out our wheel carts here for an easy option!)
